A film that broke records- crossing over 200 million views worldwide. Our inspiration for choreography came from the intricacy of Bharatanatyam mandalas. Their precision shaped our relationship to rhythm and space, while the language of Bharatanatyam extended the rangoli from the visual into the kinetic. We had the rare joy of reimagining classical dance through a new lens - exploring mandalas, geometry, and space while lying down.
