Commissioned by Mansi Kumari for her portrayal of Draupadi, not as the serene queen, but as the Kalhantarita Nayika – the heroine tormented by separation and burning with righteous fury. Inspired by the powerful reimagining in Chitra Banerjee Divakaruni's 'The Palace of Illusions,' Mansi Kumari embodies Draupadi's anguish, her fierce independence, and her unwavering demand for justice, as she navigates the complex web of betrayal and despair that engulfs her.
